U-Blot™ 1M Tris-HCl Buffer (pH 6.8) is a commonly used biological buffer, prepared with high-quality imported reagents. U-Blot™ Tris/Tris-HCl products use premixed solutions of Tris base and Tris hydrochloride, eliminating the need to handle hazardous chemicals such as concentrated hydrochloric acid, and providing commonly used pH values for Tris buffers. No mixing or pH adjustment is required. The pH accuracy is guaranteed within ±0.1 units.
Tris, also known as Tris base or 2-Amino-2-(hydroxymethyl)-1, 3-propanediol, has the molecular formula C₄H₁₁NO₃, a molecular weight of 121.14, and a purity of >99.9%.
Application
It is commonly used to prepare the stacking gel for SDS-PAGE or native PAGE and can be applied in various routine biochemical and molecular biology experiments.
Storage and stability
Store and transport in a sealed, dry place at room temperature (2–30 ℃) away from light. The shelf life is 1 year.
