U-Blot™ SDS-PAGE Protein Loading Buffer (5×)

SDS-PAGE protein loading buffer (5X) is an optimized, concentrated buffer containing bromophenol blue as the dye. Designed for conventional SDS-PAGE protein sample loading, it is supplied at 5X concentration for convenient use.

Storage and stability：Store in a sealed, frozen state at -20°C, protected from light and moisture. Shelf life: 1 year.

Instructions for use

1. Dissolve the SDS-PAGE loading buffer (5X) at room temperature or in a water bath below 37°C. After dissolving, store it at room temperature immediately, avoiding prolonged water bath exposure.
2. Mix the protein sample with the loading buffer in a 1:4 ratio (1 μL of loading buffer per 4 μL of protein sample).
3. Heat the mixture at 100°C or in a boiling water bath for 3-5 minutes to fully denature the protein.
4. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then load it directly into the SDS-PAGE gel loading well.
5. Electrophoresis is typically complete when the blue dye reaches the bottom of the gel.
