Product details
Background:Lysine dimethylation is a reversible epigenetic mark controlled by methyltransferases and demethylases. These marks recruit reader proteins to regulate transcription, DNA repair and cell fate, with unique functions for each site. H3K37 locates at the linker region between H3 N-tail and globular domain. H3K37me2 mainly distributes in gene coding regions and facilitates transcriptional elongation. This modification responds to intracellular oxidative and metabolic signals to adjust the expression of stress-related genes. Loss of H3K37me2 impairs cell stress resistance.
