U-Blot™ Prestained Protein Ladder (10-180k Da) contains 10 highly purified and prestained recombinant proteins (10, 17, 25, 34, 43, 55, 75, 95, 130, 180 kDa). The 75 kDa band is orange-red, and the 25 kDa band is green. It is suitable for SDS-PAGE polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and immunoblotting.
Applications
The molecular weight range allows dynamic observation of protein electrophoresis and clear determination of the target protein’s molecular weight. After SDS-PAGE electrophoresis, the protein can be transferred to a PVDF (or NC) membrane, where a clear colored band indicates transfer efficiency in Western Blot experiments. The recommended sample volume is 5 to 10 μl.
