U-Blot™ SDS Lysis Buffer is a relatively strong cell and tissue lysis buffer. Its main components include 50 mM Tris (pH 7.4), 150 mM NaCl, 1% SDS, as well as sodium orthovanadate, sodium fluoride, EDTA, and other inhibitors. It effectively prevents protein degradation.
The protein concentration of samples lysed with SDS Lysis Buffer can be determined using the BCA Protein Assay Kit. However, due to the high concentration of detergent, the Bradford method is not suitable for determining protein concentration in these samples.
Application
Protein samples obtained using SDS Lysis Buffer can be used for conventional Western blotting, ChIP (chromatin immunoprecipitation), and other applications.
Storage and stability
Store sealed and frozen at -20℃, protected from light and in a dry place. Shelf life is 1 year.
