Product details
Western primary and secondary antibody Stripping buffer is used to reuse membranes after protein transfer in Western blotting. After binding with primary and secondary antibodies and performing chemiluminescence detection, it may be necessary to detect stable proteins like tubulin and actin as references or to compare other proteins. The stripping buffer effectively removes the primary and secondary antibodies, allowing the membrane to be reused for detecting additional proteins. This method saves time, eliminates errors from re-loading the sample, and enhances comparability compared to re-running an SDS-PAGE gel.
Application
Reuse of membranes with transferred proteins in Western.
Storage and stability: Store in a sealed container at 2-8℃ away from light, valid for 12 months.
