The WIX-autoPP Automatic Western Blot Processing System is an intelligent, fully automated platform that delivers standardized operations for various Western blotting experiments. This system streamlines the processing of Western blot membranes, facilitating the routine detection of diverse proteins based on the Western blotting technique.
After the protein sample is transferred to the PVDF membrane or NC membrane, WIX-autoPP can automatically complete the loading and recycling of various reagents, the incubating and washing of the blotting membranes, and temperature controlling during the whole experimental process according to pre-setting programe. Such steps greatly reduce the operator’s manual operation time, and at the same time minimize the deviation caused by manual operation, which significantly improve the reliability and repeatability of test results.
The WIX-autoPP system incorporates an automatic antibody recycling function, enabling the reuse of antibodies and thereby reducing the per-test cost of Western blotting.
WIX-autoPP includes three different sizes of incubation tanks to be used separately or mixed. The incubation requirements for sizes of mini, midi, and max blotting membranes can be met respectively. The WIX-autoPP system can process up to 24 distinct blot membranes concurrently, and users can customize test programs to meet various experimental requirements. The blocking time, times of blocking and washing, time of primary antibody incubating, times of primary antibody washing, time of secondary antibody washing, times of secondary antibody washing, and the temperature of all blot membranes throughout the experiment can be set easily. Testing blot membranes and antibodies need to put inside a relative incubation tank, which slides into the incubation bay in the front of WIX-autoPP, to perform the experiment according to the pre-program, without the need for cumbersome pipeline connections. After the experiment, the antibody will be automatically returned to the antibody incubation tank.
