WIX-miniBLOT is an integral component of the WIX mini electrophoresis system, which also includes the WIX-miniPRO vertical electrophoresis cells designed for running SDS-PAGE and Native-PAGE gels. WIX-miniBLOT accommodates two blot clips and is used for blotting proteins and RNA samples from polyacrylamide and agarose gels.
The cooling unit belongs to the standard accessories of WIX-miniBLOT, which after being frozen absorb the heat generated during the operation of blotting. The built-in cooling unit avoids the trouble of connection and the cost of installing the external cooling-recycling system. Other features include an easy-to-use lock mechanism installed in the gel clamp, a gel clamp with color a marker, direction positioning, and a specially- designed plug-in-out mechanism. All these features make the WIX-miniBLOT a perfect electrophoresis system that is easy to use.
