U-Blot® Histone H3 (Phospho Thr3, Acetyl Lys4) Rabbit pAb
Product details
Background:Combinatorial histone modifications fine-tune chromatin status and gene transcription. H3T3pK4ac represents a dual epigenetic mark on histone H3, consisting of Threonine 3 phosphorylation and Lysine 4 acetylation. H3K4ac is an active chromatin modification enriched at promoters and enhancers to facilitate gene transcription. H3T3p is primarily catalyzed by Haspin kinase and accumulates during mitosis. This dual modification integrates transcriptional regulation and cell cycle-dependent chromatin remodeling. Mitotic H3T3 phosphorylation occurs on H3K4ac-modified nucleosomes, altering the recognition of transcriptional readers, enabling proper chromosome condensation while preserving active chromatin epigenetic memory. Dysregulation of H3T3pK4ac disrupts cell cycle progression and epigenetic homeostasis.
