Product details
Background:Histones are basic nuclear proteins that constitute nucleosomes, the fundamental repeating units of eukaryotic chromatin. Combinatorial post‑translational modifications can co‑occur on the same histone H3 N‑terminal tail, generating context‑dependent epigenetic signals. H3K4me3T6p refers to the dual modification of trimethyl‑Lysine 4 and phosphorylated‑Threonine 6 on histone H3. H3K4me3 is deposited by SET/MLL family methyltransferases and marks active gene promoters in interphase. H3T6 phosphorylation is mainly catalyzed by PKC‑family kinases, and is strongly enhanced during mitosis.
