U-Blot™ 6×DNA Loading Buffer

6×DNA Loading Buffer is a mixture of glycerol, DNA stabilizer, bromophenol blue, and xylene cyanol FF in specific proportions. Treated to be nuclease-free, it is suitable for preparing DNA molecular weight standards and loading samples onto agarose or polyacrylamide gels.

Key features:

• Two Tracking Dyes:Bromophenol blue and xylene cyanol FF allow for visual tracking of DNA migration during electrophoresis.
• Glycerol:Ensures proper layering of DNA in the well and facilitates sample deposition at the bottom.
• EDTA: Chelates divalent metal ions, inhibiting metal-dependent nucleases and protecting the DNA.

Application

Suitable for preparing DNA molecular weight standards and samples for loading onto agarose or polyacrylamide gels.

Storage and stability: Store and transport at room temperature (2–30℃) in a dry, sealed place away from light. The shelf life is 1 year under these conditions.

For extended storage, refrigerate at 2–8℃ to extend the shelf life to 24 months.

For long-term storage, freezing at -20℃ is recommended, with a maximum shelf life of 60 months.
